While looking around, I found that apparently, the Beaver empire has secured land on a stretch of Mud Run in Carbon County.  Looking into this stream more, I found that it is currently listed as a wild trout water in PA.  As you may or may not know, wild trout waters are not stocked by the commission, and any activities on or around the designated waters are to be done by permit.  If the Beavers are treating Mud Run like they've treated other streams in their "possession" then maybe the PAFBC should look into what it is they're doing on Mud Run.  Hope they're not stocking big fat farm raised browns in there too!

Now, I just had to comment on this "conservation" and "preservation" thing.  I'm sure all this conservation talk on the springridgeclubs.com site is to answer all the criticism Donny has gotten over his evil plans of taking over PA waters.  Personally, I think it's an insult to the intelligence of the angling community to think that people would believe that what he is doing is anything short of a selfish move for personal monetary gain!

Conservation isn't stocking waters yourself and feeding the fish trout chow to make them grow fat to impress customers!  That's a sure way to disrupt the ecosystem of a stream.  Stocking fat brown trout where native brook trout once lived is not conservation, it's a selfish act to make your business more profitable.  So what is the conservation plan here?  Is it to ensure that the few waters he "owns" remain open to a few, causing added pressure the remaining public waters?  How is that conservation?  So what, you keep 14 miles of water private, and cause extra pressure on the remaining several hundred miles of water?  How is that conservation?  Furthermore, who the hell does he think he is?  If you want to help conservation, join one of the several public clubs that are trying to carry out REAL conservation and preservation!  Don't go and privatize waters for thousands of dollars and carry out your own agenda for what your sick mind considers "conservation".  Donny has a background in manufacturing, not environmental protection!  How the hell is it that HE knows what's best for our PA waters?

Anyone with half a brain cell can see that all this asshole is doing is trying to make an exclusive, expensive club open only to those with the pocket book big enough to support it!  No matter, Donny knows deep in his demented, evil soul that what he is doing is wrong!  If he thinks that anyone is going to fall for his bullshit about conservation, he's got some serious mental problems.  Do you sleep well at night Donny, knowing that you're one of the most hated people in our hobby? 

I read on the springridge site Donny said "Having worked much of his life in preservation and stewardship of natural resources, he doesn't understand why Pennsylvania anglers bristle at the mention of his name." yet prior to that he talks about coming from the manufacturing field?  Which is it Donny?  And you're serious?  You don't know why PA anglers hate you?  Give me a break.  I can't wait to see the day when your little empire comes crashing down.
